Patty in her temporary office

The Hillside Residence, Inc. recently hired Patty Greene of Florence, Mass. for the new property manager position of the soon-to-open Hillside Residence in West Springfield. Patty began her role on June 3 working out of temporary office quarters (above) in the nearby de Paul Center. She plans to relocate her office to the new Hillside Residence (photo below) once the building’s construction is complete.

Patty in her future officeWhen asked what she initially likes about her new position, Patty answered, “I am learning a lot, and I love the mission of Sisters of Providence, the work they do and what they stand for. I am proud to be part of it, and of getting Hillside Residence up and running for the residents!”

She is “very excited for lease up” and is “most looking forward to seeing the residents every day, getting to know them, and being part of the team helping one of our most vulnerable populations (at risk, low income elders) be able to remain independent for as long as possible.”

Prior to accepting her new position, Patty spent 16 years as office manager for Elm Street Medicine P.C. in Northampton.

Noting record of success
She is a professional administrator with a record of success in many areas of the medical office environment. At her last post, she was instrumental in establishing and maintaining a new membership practice (a concierge model), and produced a HIPPA manual and employee handbook. The American Academy of Professional Coders certified Patty as a professional coder in 2005.

She earned an Associate of Science degree in medical assisting from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield and is a graduate of Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton.
